This fundraiser is for my sister and her sweet boy. Not once has my sister and her family been struck terribly by bad luck with medical problems, but this is the second time. No mother should ever have to bury a child. She lost her sweet Carson at only 4 months old. And now Kohen is being struck with cancer. Below is her story.

Never in our wildest nightmares did we ever think our sweet boy would be diagnosed with cancer, but here we are.

Kohen was diagnosed with neuroblastoma this week. Our sweet, happy, innocent baby. So far we know it is on his right adrenal gland, liver, and in his bone marrow.

We have a start of a plan to get him on the right path. As long as things continue to go as they have planned, he will be admitted to Children’s at the end of next week for a central line placement and to get his first cycle of chemo started.
