Support Kody's Recovery from Brain Surgery

I am Leland Davis, Kody's dad. Kody has recently had a brain bleed and on August 1st he had to be airlifted to Greenville, NC to undergo emergency neurosurgery. The results of this surgery have caused his ability to communicate his thoughts to be greatly impaired. He has currently started speech therapy. This process could take a year or longer for him to be able to communicate properly again. He will be unable to work during this time. We will apply for some disability for him, however, the application waiting time is currently over 200 days. These funds would help Kody be able to stay in his apartment while he makes his recovery.
