Hi everyone,

My name is Shelby, and I’m reaching out for help for my beloved dog, Kodi, who has been fighting through an incredibly difficult medical journey. In the last several months alone, he has undergone two emergent surgeries and endured multiple rounds of antibiotics and steroids as we’ve tried to get his symptoms under control.

Despite everything he’s already survived, we still don’t have the answers we need. Our vet now recommends diagnostic surgery, including a CT and Nasal Scope to finally determine the underlying cause of his ongoing pain and complications. This surgery is essential to give him the chance to truly heal.

This situation is especially heartbreaking for me because Kodi is more than just a pet—he helped me through the sudden and devastating loss of my previous dog, Koda. He was the light that pulled me out of that grief. I can’t imagine losing him, too. I need to fight for him the way he unknowingly fought for me.

The financial strain of two emergency surgeries and continuous treatments has taken a significant toll, and the additional diagnostic surgery is more than we can manage alone. That’s why I’m asking for support. Whether it’s through donating or simply sharing this fundraiser, every bit helps us get closer to the answers Kodi desperately needs.
