I never thought I’d be making something like this for one of my bestfriends, but after what happened he truly needs all the help he can get.
Around 5am, one of my best friends named Kode woke up to the sound of his dog crying. When he walked out of his bedroom, his entire kitchen was engulfed in flames. A battery from some lawn equipment exploded and the fire spread through the house unbelievably fast. In just minutes everything changed.
Him and his dad barely made it out safely, but the fire destroyed almost everything he owned. Clothes, furniture, personal belongings, memories, pretty much his entire home is gone, and now he has no place to stay.
The hardest part is that one of his dogs was badly burned in the fire and while trying to save him, kode injured his hands and got burned as well. His dog is currently at the emergency vet fighting to recover. Seeing him deal with losing his home while also trying to save his dog has been devastating for me and our friends to see. The vet bills are already over $6,000 and continue to grow.
Im trying to raise some money for kode to help with this hard time for him and his dad. Donations, shares, prayers, anything at all. We’re just trying to help him get through one of the worst moments imaginable and help him start over.
