Our sweet boy Koda’s world changed in an instant. While chasing after his favorite ball—the game he loves most—he tore his CCL and meniscus. Now, instead of running free in the yard, playing tug, and rolling around with his little sister, he’s facing pain, surgery, and a long road to recovery.

Koda’s surgery is scheduled for September 10th. Without it, he’ll never be able to walk, run, or play like the goofy, loving dog he’s always been. Watching him limp and struggle when all he wants is to play breaks our hearts. His little sister doesn’t understand why her best friend can’t run beside her anymore, and Koda doesn’t understand why his favorite games suddenly bring him pain.

The cost of surgery, medication, and recovery care is overwhelming. We never imagined we’d be in a position to ask, but we can’t let money stand in the way of giving Koda the chance to live a happy, pain-free life again.

Koda isn’t just our dog—he’s family. He’s the heart of our home, the protector of his sister, and the one who makes every day brighter with his goofy grin and wagging tail.
