Support Koda's Journey to a Pain-Free Life

Hi my name is Emma and I’m fundraising for my puppy Koda. We rescued him from the high kill shelter in Devore Ca, back in December. He was just suppose to be my foster pup, but Bruce(my other dog) & I fell in love with him. Koda bonded with Bruce within an hour, and he’s very shy around people, so I knew I just had to keep him. He always had a limp, but it would switch legs and we assumed it was just growing pains. Last month it started on his front left leg and didn’t go away. We went to 3 different vets who all recommended rest. It got worse, he started hopping. We got it x rayed and they said we need to see an orthopedic specialist because it’s elbow and most likely also hip dysplasia. I love my little one so much and I don’t want him to be in pain, I want him to live a happy and fulfilled life. Of course we are doing the surgery, the physical therapy and all the supplements and anything and everything that will help him. I don’t know the exact total until after we meet with the specialist, but they’ve estimated at least 10k. Our insurance won’t kick in for another couple months, and I’m not waiting that long for Koda to be in pain and for this to progress further. He needs help now, and so we’re asking our community for help. If you can donate, we would be forever grateful. Thank you so much.
