My life changed in an instant when I was hit by a car while on my way to work on Thursday morning. The accident left me with a broken foot, and now I’m unable to work or support myself as I recover. It’s been a difficult and stressful time, both physically and emotionally. I’ve tried to go back to work on my broken foot to try to still support my family and living expenses but my work sent me home almost immediately and told me I was unable to work until I was completely healed, so I'm left with no choice but to ask for help and hopefully the community can come together for me as a new rider.

The medical bills are already piling up, I cannot afford health insurance and it was a hit and run. I’m now worried about how I’ll manage rent, auto payments, and other living expenses while I’m off my feet. I’ve always tried to be independent, but right now, I need to ask for help. Every bit of support will go directly toward my recovery and making sure I can keep a roof over my head and stay on top of my bills.
