Support Kobe's Recovery from Painful Injury

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with an urgent plea for help. A few days ago, my dad found our cat unable to stand or pick himself up. He’s an indoor/outdoor cat, so at first we weren’t sure what had happened, but it was clear something was very wrong with his back leg.

After rushing him to the vet and getting X-rays, we received some heartbreaking news: he has two possible fractures in his pelvic area, and his femur is sitting lower than it should be, just outside of the pelvic socket. The vet believes he may have suffered a hip dislocation or a pelvic fracture, likely from being hit by a car.

He's currently on pain medication and being closely monitored, but he’s still in pain, and the only real path to recovery is surgery. Without it, his mobility and quality of life are at serious risk.

The estimated cost of the surgery, follow-up care, and recovery is more than we can manage on our own. We’re hoping to raise $3,000, which would cover the majority of the expenses and help us get him the treatment he urgently needs.

Kobe has brought so much warmth and comfort into our lives, and it’s heartbreaking to see him hurting like this.
