2yo KOA ended up at West Valley shelter due to landlord issues.
Shelter life was devastating for Koa. He stopped eating well, lost weight, became sad, anxious, and shut down. Despite medical testing, he continued declining emotionally and physically. He was placed on the euthanasia list.
Consulting 4 K9s rescued him last week. Koa had an adopter ready for him, but tragically the adopter was hospitalized and missed transport. Now Koa is sitting in boarding waiting for his second chance.
Thankfully, an amazing foster in Lake Tahoe has stepped up - ready to take him Koa on hikes, walks, adventures, and finally show him the love he deserves.
But we urgently need help with boarding and transport costs. This unexpected setback has left us struggling. Please donate any amount you can to help Koa get to safety and happiness. Thank You!
