Hello BN team and family. It’s with a heavy heart I write this message to ask for help for one of our own. Sean Klene has received the devastating news that his wife, Rachel, has been diagnosed with acute liver failure. Rachel recently had to leave her job to focus on caring for the family, which leaves Sean as the sole provider. Sean is forced to split his time at Barber-Nichols with taking care of Rachel and their four kids: Theo (2), Denver (8), Alexander (11), and Ava (16).

I know Sean very well and know that he would never reach out for help, which is why I am asking for help for him on his behalf. Sean needs help to cover medical expenses for Rachel. When a liver transplant becomes available, Sean and Rachel will need support for the procedure and recovery. If you feel so moved, please consider donating what you can.
