Support Klayton's All-Star Baseball Dream

Hello , my name is Jennifer Hammer. I am the mother of an incredible special needs son, Klayton. Klayton “Hammertime” Hammer plays in the AllPlay Miracle Buddy Baseball League in Omaha, NE. I am asking for your help to allow Klayton to participate in a national All-Star baseball game for players with special needs.

Klayton, who has Cerebral Palsy, has played in the AllPlay Miracle Buddy Baseball League for fifteen years (since its inception in 2009) and plays second base. AllPlay has over 500 special needs players on 32 teams, playing for 14 weeks each summer. The league offers an incredible opportunity for special needs individuals to play in a non-competitive baseball league using buddies. There is no cost for players or their families, and players receive free uniforms, trophies and participate in various extra game day activities. The Miracle League believes "Every child deserves the chance to play baseball"!

Klayton has been honored by being selected to represent AllPlay in an All-Star game sponsored by the Miracle League in Conyers GA in October. We are initiating a fundraising campaign to help cover the cost of sending Klayton and me to this event. Funds will cover the direct cost of airfare, hotel and meals. Any funds not needed will be donated to AllPlay to continue its mission of providing this incredible league for many individuals with special needs.
