Klaus's Story

Klaus has had a rough start to life. He was abandoned outside of Wilson Veterinary Hospital with a note from the owners saying they could no longer care for him. The doctors took him in and did an exam where they found out he had a badly fractured leg that would need to be amputated. With the help of the The Sparky Fund, Klaus was able to get the medical care he needed to get better. The first time I saw him, I knew instantly I was going to adopt him. Klaus got to come home on April 6, 2021, to his forever home with me. Shortly after that, he did have a partial urinary blockage back on November 11, 2021. With the urinary issue, my veterinarian suggested starting him on a prescription urinary diet. I started feeding him the Hills Vet C/D diet. He was all good until October 4, 2024, when he had another urinary blockage. I had to rush him to Wilson Veterinary Hospital to get unblocked by my vet. Since this is his second time having a urinary blockage, the veterinarian suggested a P/U surgery. I'm looking for any donations to help pay for Surgery/Hospital stay. Even a few bucks will be a big help with paying off his vet bill. Thanks
