Help me raise money for Klaas

Hi, my name is Monika.

I’m a student living on my own, and my cat Klaas is my best friend. A few days ago, on May 4th, Klaas had an accident — he slipped from the window sill and fell from the sixth floor. I know It’s a miracle that he survived and I am and will be endlessly grateful for that.

Unfortunately, he did suffer serious injuries from the fall. He broke his left paw (which need to be stabilized with surgical pinning) and permanently damaged some of his teeth. We’ve been referred to a specialist, and Klaas was scheduled for surgery on Tuesday , May 13th 2025. 

The surgery alone costed 2500 euros, and additional costs came from aftercare, such as cast changes, medications, and a separate surgery to remove a broken tooth.

Thankfully, other than bruising, his internal organs were okay. 

As a student I simply don’t have the means to afford all of these medical expenses on my own. 

That’s why I’m reaching out for help.
