Support K.K.'s Recovery from Gun Violence
Donation protected
On Thursday, December 2, 2021, our family and the life of our dear K.K. changed forever when she became a victim of gun violence in our city.
K.K. is a dear mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and sweet friend to many people in this community. She was driving home to watch the Saints game, just like any of us who call this city home could be doing, when her car was shot up with multiple bullets. K.K. sustained multiple gunshot wounds as a result of this violent attack.
Unfortunately for our family, the violence that is plaguing our streets will now live with us for the rest of our lives. However, we must face reality and prepare for the long, uncomfortable journey of her recovery that lies ahead.
As a family, we know that fully surviving this is only possible through the love and care of our family, friends, and community. Thank you for wanting to assist us in making sure our dear K.K. is able to receive the quality of care she deserves and needs to endure the long-term stages of recovery and rehabilitation due to this heinous act of violence.
Your donation and generosity will assist us with her long-term medical needs and assisted care.
We humbly thank you for thinking of and supporting us through your prayers, calls, emails and text messages checking on K.K.
God bless you and be with you always!
