Kiwi is currently 2 years and 7 months old, and I have had her since she was five months old and I was eighteen.

Kiwi's vets strongly believe that she has feline gastrointestinal eosinophilic sclerosing fibroplasia (FGESF), a rare disease that has caused her to develop thickened tissue, as well as a mass in and around her digestive tract. If left untreated, her digestive tract could get a mechanical blockage or the mass could rupture and she could become septic.

Kiwi's treatment thus far has included an X-ray, ultrasound, CT consult, CT scan, bloodwork, and a consultation with an internal medicine specialist. This has cost over five thousand dollars in vet fees.

Going forward with treating this disease, she will need steroids and immunosuppressants along with regular blood tests and ultrasounds. Anything donated would be extremely helpful in ensuring Kiwi can get the treatment she needs going forward. I am currently a full-time college student working part-time, and these vet bills have exceeded the money in my savings.
