HELP OUR FAMILY THROUGH SUDDEN HOSPICE CRISIS — ANY SUPPORT MEANS EVERYTHING

We are reaching out as a family during the most heartbreaking and unexpected moment of our lives. Our beloved mother — who has lived with us and truly been the heart of our home, helping raise our children every day — was rushed to the hospital over two weeks ago and has now been transitioned to hospice care.

Our world changed overnight.

We are doing everything we can to keep her comfortable, advocate for her care, and emotionally support our kids through this — but in truth, we are struggling. We are a multi-disability household, and I have had to step away from work completely to be full-time caregiving and coordinating hospice, medical decisions, and emergency planning every day. Between my own medical treatments, the kids’ emotional distress, and the nonstop communication with doctors and family — we are simply trying to hold everything together moment by moment.

This is the hardest experience we’ve ever lived through.

Our children are deeply affected — emotionally, physically, and mentally. We have reached out wherever possible, but urgent daily needs remain.

At this time, we are humbly asking for support in any form — whether it’s a donation, sharing this, or simply holding space for our family with love and compassion.

Support received will help with:

• Immediate hospice and end-of-life caregiving needs

• Housing stability (mortgage, utilities, and essential household bills)

• Day-to-day necessities for our children (groceries, transportation, emergency expenses)

• Lost income as I care full-time for Mom and our medically fragile family

• Emotional and stability support for our children during this transition

• Critical planning as hospice progresses and difficult decisions must be made
