Our friends at Kitten Rescue NW, Inc need to raise funds for 2 kittens needing full leg amputation.
This is their story:
We got them at only 2 days old, weighing just 1 ounce each. One ounce. So fragile we didn’t know if they would make it. Around-the-clock bottle feedings. Sleepless nights. Watching every breath. Celebrating every tiny gain.
Today they are finally right at 6 ounces. It has taken everything to get them here.
Two of these sweet babies were born with severe hip injuries and will need full leg amputations. Surgery can’t happen yet—they must continue to gain weight and grow strong enough to safely handle anesthesia. So for now, we feed. We nurture. We pray. We help them grow stronger every single day.
And despite everything… they wobble. They wrestle. They climb over each other like nothing can stop them. They will adjust beautifully after surgery. They will live happy, full, joyful lives. Cats are incredibly resilient.
They don’t know what lies ahead.
They only know they are loved.
Their surgeries and medical care will be significant, and we cannot do this alone. If you feel moved to help these tiny fighters, please consider donating or sharing. Every dollar brings them closer to a pain-free, beautiful future.
They fought to get from 1 ounce to 6.
Now we fight for the rest of their story.
