Hi, I'm Kits, known to many online as “The King of Endo.” ️

Years ago, I created this GoFundMe because I desperately needed help accessing specialized surgery for Stage 4 endometriosis.

I wish I could tell you that chapter ended there.

It didn't.

I am still living with this disease. I am still fighting for treatment. Somewhere along the way, though, my personal fight became something much bigger than me.

Endometriosis has affected nearly every part of my life. I know what it is like to live through debilitating flare ups, hospital visits, chronic pain, exhaustion, brain fog, medical appointments, and the financial burden that comes with trying to obtain specialized care.

I also know what it feels like to exist in spaces where people like me are rarely represented.

I am a transgender man living with Stage 4 endometriosis.

Instead of hiding that reality, I decided to show it.

I began documenting the parts of chronic illness that people usually don't see. The pain. The flare ups. The recovery. The frustration. The victories. Everything in between.

That vulnerability eventually grew into an advocacy platform and a community of people who reminded me that telling my story could help someone else feel less alone.

Today, many people know me as The King of Endo. I use my platform to advocate for greater endometriosis awareness, inclusive healthcare, patient representation, and recognition of every Endo Warrior whose experience has been overlooked.

But being an advocate doesn't make me any less of a patient.

I still need help, too.

The money raised through this fundraiser will help me continue pursuing the specialized endometriosis care I have been fighting to access. It will also help with the expenses that come with that care, including medical costs, travel, lodging, transportation, recovery supplies, food, and other necessary expenses.

This fundraiser originally began as an effort to help me travel from Pittsburgh to Atlanta for extensive endometriosis surgery involving multiple specialists. That journey has faced delays and setbacks, but my need for specialized care has not disappeared.

Neither has my determination.

If you have followed me for years, you know that I believe in transparency. If you're meeting me for the first time through an article, interview, video, or because someone shared this fundraiser with you, welcome.

I don't want anyone who supports me to ever wonder where their kindness went.

I will continue documenting this journey. I want you to see the appointments, the setbacks, the progress, the preparation, the treatment, and eventually, I hope, the recovery I've been fighting toward.
