Kit is a community organizer, trail worker, volunteer ski patroller, and self-employed ecological forester. His main drives in life are to share the wonder of the outdoors with others, care for our natural environment, and improve the lives of others through community. He has been unable to engage in most of this work for over a year due to a knee injury that has made such activity unsafe and in some cases physically impossible.

He is scheduled for ACL reconstruction & meniscus repair surgery on October 1 and will have to take 3 months off work. He does not qualify for unemployment or paid medical leave from the state and needs support covering living expenses and lost income.
