I'm Laura, a close friend of Bre and the Walls family.

After years of digestive issues and a recent series of increasingly acute hospitalizations, Kit has been diagnosed with small bowel cancer. A treatment plan is still to be determined, but he will be unable to work for at least three months while he recovers from major abdominal surgery.
