You may or may not know that early in November, Kit Harvey was diagnosed with multiple myeloma which is a cancer in the blood cells. He has been in treatment and is doing well. Soon, he will travel to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital for tests and procedures (stem cell transplant) to remove his healthy stem cells, receive chemo, and then replace his healthy stem cells. This will involve staying in Birmingham for at least 4 weeks, possibly more. His wife will stay with him the entire time and will be out of work. His current insurance will pay 80% of costs, but that other 20% is going to get costly. We are asking that if you feel led, please consider donating to help with his medical costs.
