UPDATE We have placed Kirshia on comfort care. The doctors have told us it wont be long and we want to make her comfortable. Please pray for us, her mother and children are devastated, all of us are broken and need prayers. No one should have to say the final goodbye to their children She is going to donate organs to hopefully save someone else's life!

My name is Becky Smith. This is not about me but someone I love very much, my Niece Kirshia N. Smith. She's a single mother with 3 children and is suffering from liver failure and a terrible infection.

We were told to go home, be comfortable, and maybe live 7 to 10 days. That is not her. She is in this for the long haul, so we are at Barnes Jewish Hospital. It's been a month and she's still here. She sees a transplant team tomorrow, but in the meantime, we are at the end of our resources.

Her mother (my sister) has not left her side, but without money, she's going without food. Kishisa has no insurance or savings, so I'm reaching out to hopefully offer them the ability to fight and so she has support with her to beat this and come home to her kids. They need her, and she needs people with her. Saint Louis is a 2 1/2 hour drive, so just the gas to get there is difficult.

Donations would be appreciated and prayers. God is king above all and he hears us. So join us in praying for her!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Update

Kirshias kidneys have failed and they've intubated her so she can rest while they fight to get the kidneys going again, She is a candidate for a liver transplant but they have to get everything on track to do it!! Prayers please that they get their ducks in a row so she can have a transplant!!
