Hi, my name is Kishayla, and I’m a newly accepted graduate student in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at the University of Nevada, Reno. My dream is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and use my training to serve children, families, and people experiencing homelessness with compassion and trauma-informed care.

I’ve spent years working in the community, supporting kids and families through crisis. This MSW program is a big step toward making a long-term impact, but it also comes with a financial burden I can’t carry alone.
