I never thought I’d be in this position, but life threw me a curveball—I recently broke my ankle on 2/15/2025. I am currently receiving short term disability insurance where I am fortunately allotted a percentage of my bi weekly pay, however, I do not have accident insurance and I am unable to purchase it with a pre-existing injury. As you can imagine, this has put a huge financial strain on me, with medical bills piling up and everyday expenses becoming harder to manage without my usual income.
