Our mom, the strongest, most selfless woman we know, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
She raised six kids, four of us on her own, and somehow always made sure we felt safe and loved. No matter what life threw at her, she showed up with grit and grace. She has been our rock through everything, and now it is our turn to be hers.
Cancer is brutal, but chemo has been even worse. She has had every reaction you could think of, nausea, exhaustion, pain, but nothing could have prepared us for her second treatment. She had a severe allergic reaction, her body was covered in painful blisters. Watching her go through that, knowing we could not take the pain away, was heartbreaking. And she still has a long road ahead.
On top of all of this, the financial burden is crushing. Each chemo treatment is $36,000, and insurance is barely putting a dent in it. No one should have to worry about money while fighting for their life, but that is the reality we are facing.
If you know my mom, you know she is not the type to ask for help. She has spent her whole life taking care of everyone else. So now we are stepping in to take care of her.
Every single donation goes straight to her treatments and care. If you cannot donate, just sharing this and sending love means everything to us.
We believe in miracles. We believe in her. And we are going to fight alongside her every step of the way.
Thank you for being here with us.
