Hi, my name is Kirstie Woodral, and after years of hard work and dedication, my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher is finally coming true! This fall, I’ll be stepping into my very first classroom, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome students and create a space where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.

As a first-time teacher, I’m starting from scratch. Most people don’t realize that teachers often spend hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars out of pocket to make their classrooms functional and engaging — especially when it comes to supplies, books, flexible seating, and tools to help every student succeed.

I want to create a warm, inclusive environment where all students — including English Learners and students with special needs — feel seen, supported, and excited to learn. This fund will help me purchase:

• Basic supplies (pencils, paper, folders, whiteboards, art supplies)

• Classroom library books

• Flexible seating and organizational tools

• Educational games and materials

• Resources for differentiated learning

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward building a space where students can thrive from day one.
