Please help us come together to raise money in support of Kirstie Spano.
On December 26th, Kirstie and her family were left devastated after she suffered a stroke caused by a pre-existing undiagnosed condition.
Kirstie suffers from Brain Arteriovenous Malformations (AVM). On the 26th of Dec, her AVM haemorrhaged causing a stroke. As a result, she has had multiple bleeds on the brain and is in a serious condition. She is paralysed on her right side and has been left unable to speak. Over the past week, Kirstie's condition has begun to stabilise, however, the full extent of the damaged caused to her brain is still unknown. She has had 4 angiograms with another scheduled and will need brain surgery to remove the AVM once she has recovered more.
Her condition will require a lot of long-term and ongoing medical care as she will need to relearn how to walk and talk.
Please help us come together to support Kirstie and her family with all the medical expenses that will be incurred over the next 12 to 24 months of medical rehabilitation.
Up until the 26th of Dec, Kirstie was a happy and healthy 25 yr old. She was enjoying having time off from work and spending the festive season with her family and partner Phil. A vibrant woman that spread positivity where ever she went. She is loved dearly and we pray that she has a speedy recovery. In this time of need, her family requires as much support as possible and anything you can give is greatly appreciated
