We are raising money to help pay for Kirsten's emergency dental surgery and help with bills while she is temporarily unable to work. This week she experienced a brutally painful abscess flare-up in the middle of our busiest shift, and still worked her butt off despite being in incredible pain. She was then informed she needed emergency dental surgery immediately.

Those of you who know Kirsten will recognize her as a beloved member of our community, a fantastic friend, a fixture of the Righteous Room, and a kickass waitress at the Majestic Diner. But being a server means no health insurance (and dental stuff usually isn't covered anyway), and January is already a pretty dry month for those of us in the service industry. So let's do what communities do and help with the enormous and unexpected bill.

$3700 will cover the actually surgery and the rest will make up for the missed shifts while she recovers.
