Dear Family and Friends,

On Monday August 4th, Kirk suffered a serious heart attack that required immediate hospitalization in Wenatchee and eventual transfer to Seattle for more specialized care. He is still in Seattle receiving critical care in the ICU - hopefully able to return home this weekend. While he is incredibly grateful to be alive, he now faces a long and challenging road to recovery — both physically and financially.

The medical expenses from the hospital stay, travel expenses along with the ongoing costs of follow-up care, medication and cardiac rehab are adding up and will continue to do so as treatment is expected to last at least one year.  We all know it’s not easy to ask for help — but right now, the family truly needs it.
