Support Kirk's Fight Against Health & Financial Woes

My name is Kirk Stehle.

I am a certified surgical first assistant with 33 years of experience. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with a circulatory condition and had to undergo three major surgeries, resulting in being off work for nine months. During that time, I exhausted all of my savings.

Since then, I have experienced intermittent time off that resulted in more procedures and, of course, more time away from work. Upon returning to work after surgery, I found myself in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. I worked on the COVID floors and at the testing sites. I contracted the virus four times and was hospitalized twice in the ICU.

Recently, I was hospitalized again and out for three weeks, and I am having trouble keeping it together.

I managed to hold off eviction last month, but I don't know how I'll be able to do it again. All my bills are late, and things are days away from being turned off. My car payments are late. I have nothing left. I just don't want to experience homelessness while having a good job.
