Hello there! As many of you know we have had the pleasure of employing Delroy Kirkland (Kirk) on the farm this season. He is the first employee we have had as farmers/business owners, and we are beyond grateful for what he has done for us. The impact Kirk has made on our farm has been tremendous. He is truly a beam of light, always carrying himself with gratitude and positivity, one of the hardest working farmers around. He has carried so much weight for us, and this season wouldn’t have been a success without him.

Kirk is from Jamaica. He has farmed in New England for the past 9 years as lawful permanent resident. He came here to give a better life to his family, who reside in Jamaica. Jamaica was recently hit with a massive hurricane, leaving so much destruction in its wake including Kirk’s family’s home. This fundraiser will not only aid in the rebuild of his life back home, but will give back to Kirk what he has given us and our community, kindness and grace.
