Kirk Stone is a dear friend who is currently facing challenging and life-threatening health issues. In December 2024, a scan was taken, but a 6 cm aortic aneurysm was missed at the time. In December 2025, after experiencing new issues, Kirk was referred to a vascular surgeon who discovered the aneurysm. At this size, surgery is typically required, but further tests uncovered a hematoma from a slow bleed, making the situation even more complicated. Due to Kirk’s medical history, including a previously dissected aorta, his doctors determined that surgery would be too risky. As a result, Kirk was transported by ambulance to the Cleveland Clinic for specialized care, where he is now preparing for a major experimental surgery. Fortunately, this surgery has been very successful in other cases.

Because of these serious health challenges, Kirk is facing mounting living expenses, including rent, utilities, meals, and transportation. On top of that, his beloved dog Daisy needs to be kenneled while Kirk is in the hospital, adding to the financial strain. Kirk has always been there for his friends and community, and now he needs our help more than ever.
