Hello everyone,
I am writing this today as I approach the finish line of a journey I have worked incredibly hard for. I am currently in my final semester at Harold Washington College, where I am completing my Associate's in Psychology. Education and helping others have always been my top priority, and I am proud to say that I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and was accepted into Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society throughout my time at Harold Washington College. I am so close to receiving my degree, but I've hit a financial wall that I can't climb alone.
The Goal
I am seeking to raise $1,500 to cover my remaining tuition and the cost of my textbooks for this final term.
Why I'm Asking for Help
I have spent the last few months exhausting every possible resource to fund these final credits. I've applied for numerous scholarships and sought out student loans, but unfortunately, I wasn't approved or found the funds to cover the entirety of what I owe for the remaining tuition and books. Being this close to graduation and seeing a financial gap stand in the way is incredibly difficult and frustrating. This degree is the foundation for my future career in psychology, and I am determined to finish what I started.
How You Can Help
Any contribution, no matter the size, goes directly toward my registrar balance and my books. If you aren't able to donate, simply sharing this link with your social network would mean the world to me.
Thank you for supporting my education and helping me turn this 4.0 GPA into a diploma!
With extreme gratitude,
Kira Alice Le May
