We are reaching out to ask for support for my sister Kira Ridolfo, a woman whose strength has been tested time and again, yet whose spirit remains unbroken.
At 21 years old, Kira faced her first major battle: Stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Kira fought with everything she had—and she won. She spent her young adulthood in remission, determined to build a life filled with purpose and hope.
Kira found a career she adores and went on to serve for many years as an elementary school teacher and principal, touching countless lives and helping hundreds of students. In June of 2024, she married the love of her life, Cody, and together they began dreaming of the family they hoped to build.
That road has not been easy. After facing infertility, Kira and Cody have been working with specialists and pouring their hearts—and their life savings—into IVF treatments. While still navigating the emotional and financial toll of that journey, they were hit with devastating news: Kira has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) at age 39.
Because TNBC is aggressive, Kira must once again endure intensive chemotherapy along with immunotherapy, surgery, radiation and a long road to recovery. This diagnosis has come at an overwhelming time—physically, emotionally, and financially.
Between IVF expenses and mounting medical bills, the financial burden on Kira and Cody is immense. Our hope is that Kira can focus solely on healing—not on how they will cover medical costs and daily living expenses while she is unable to work.
Anyone who truly knows Kira knows this: the fastest way to get her to do something has always been to tell her she “can’t”. That determination has carried her through so much already, and it’s the same strength she’s drawing on now. Kira is a survivor. She has beaten the odds before, and with your help, we believe she can do it again. Please consider donating, sharing this page, and keeping Kira and Cody in your prayers.
