Support Kira – The Deadly Designer Behind Choo-Choo Designs
Donation protected
I am the biggest fan of Kira Turner, a proud Dunghutti woman and the inspiring force behind Choo-Choo Designs. Kira launched her business at just 15 years old and recently celebrated its third anniversary during NAIDOC Week 2025!
Over the years, Kira has grown Choo-Choo Designs from a small idea into a meaningful brand that celebrates culture, creativity, and resilience. In the last six months, she has launched her very own clothing label — a stunning line that incorporates First Nations art into everyday, affordable fashion. But as a completely self-funded young entrepreneur, Kira is currently only able to produce her clothing through a 'made-to-order' model, which limits her ability to grow and meet demand.
Despite challenges — including COVID, school commitments, and financial barriers — Kira continues to break through with passion and determination. She’s the 2023 Young Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year and a finalist for the 2025 7News Young Designer of the Year. Her designs are not only beautiful, they’re a statement of reconciliation and cultural pride.
This GoFundMe will help Kira purchase the resources she needs to produce her clothing in bulk, expand her reach, and continue to create powerful pieces that showcase First Nations art. Every contribution, big or small, will support this incredible young woman to take her business to the next level.
Let’s help Kira make Choo-Choo Designs a household name.
