HELP KIP STEWARD RECOVER FROM HIS STROKE
Kip Steward has been a cherished member of The Divide Community for 62 years. Born and raised here, he has touched the hearts of many with his friendship and love for good conversation.
On November 7th, Kip experienced dizziness at work on his last day before retiring from BOMUSD after 22 years. Excited for a camping and fishing trip to hell Hole Reservoir with his wife Kendra, Kip's plans took a turn for the worst when he became violently ill on their way up. Initially thought to be a stomach virus, Kip's condition worsened, leading to blurred vision and inability to walk. Kendra called 911, and Kip was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a stroke.
Kip is now on a path to recovery, requiring extensive therapy and Care from several neurologists and remains in the hospital. His main goal is to regain his independence and enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
How can you help: Kip faces significant medical bills due to a high deductible health insurance plan, along with Kendra not working to care for Kip 24/7, travel costs to various specialists and daily rehabilitation therapy an hour away. We aim to raise $20,000 to ease his financial burden and allow him to focus on recovery.
Please consider donating to support Kip during this challenging time. Every contribution helps, and your kindness is greatly appreciated!
Kip's wife Kendra will be the beneficiary for all donations. Donations can also be made directly to the Stewards through Venmo: @Steward_4K
Thank you for your support!
