I am helping raise donations for a great friend who is being faced with something at a young age that no one should have to. Cyndi Thompson Kinsey's mother has lived with a genetic lung disease for the last 10 years, receiving infusions at home via home health. Cyndi was also awaiting to be placed on a liver transplant list. Cindy went into the ER with flu-like symptoms and was diagnosed with pneumonia, sepsis, and respiratory failure. Cindy was then intubated and transferred to UK hospital. The doctors have done all they can for Cindy; she has been taken off of all sedatives and is not responding. Doctors have her on every medication currently to keep her alive. Along with that, her kidneys, bowels, and lungs are failing. She has taken a turn for the worst and they have called Kinsey to her bedside. Cindy did not have life insurance due to her lung disease. She also has a 15-year-old autistic son who is Kinsey's brother. God is the true narrative in this story. I am helping to prepare Kinsey to help take the financial burden as there is no one else to take it. I thank each of you so much for your help.
