Kinney was recently diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) and mild congestive heart failure. If you know me, you know how much Kinney means to me. She has been my companion for 10 years and this diagnosis has been hard to process. I can’t imagine my life without her.

She was prescribed a beta blocker, diuretic, and a blood thinning agent to help slow her heart failure.

Kinney was given 1 year to live. The medicine has been working great and will help her quality of life and possibly extend her life.
