Support Kinley Ogbonnaya's Road to Recovery

Hello, my name is Keitha Lovett. I would like to tell you my story about what unfortunately happened to my son Kinley Ogbonnaya:
Before tragedy struck, Kinley Ogbonnaya was a pillar of his community; a selfless leader, mentor, and source of inspiration. As co-founder of the Tre Foundation, he devoted himself to giving back, supporting families, and creating opportunities for children. On the basketball court, he was a fierce competitor, but off it, he was a compassionate mentor, shaping young lives with his guidance and belief in their potential. Kinley has always been a light for others, even in the darkest moments. Today, Kinley needs us to be his light. In a devastating accident, the truck Kinley was riding in flipped over four times. Out of the four passengers, Kinley was the only one seriously injured. A bald tire on his side of the vehicle blew, causing life-altering spinal and neck injuries. Kinley was rushed to Grady Trauma Center, where he underwent emergency spinal surgery. After 10 days in the ICU, he was transferred to the Shepherd Center, where he has spent the past seven months to present fighting to regain his strength and reclaim his life. The financial toll of this journey is overwhelming, with medical bills climbing into the millions. Family and friends are rallying around Kinley, to raise funds thru this GoFundMe page. All donations are used exclusively for medical and recovery-related expenses. But Kinley’s story isn’t just about survival it’s about purpose. Even in the midst of his own grueling recovery, Kinley has embraced his role as a mentor and guide for others. At the Shepherd Center, he has become a source of hope for young patients facing the same challenges he has endured. He offers strength to their parents and encouragement to their families, showing them that even in the face of unimaginable pain, there is still room for courage, growth, and love. Kinley’s resilience and spirit inspire everyone who crosses his path. Kinley has spent his life lifting others, and now it’s our turn to lift him. Your support will provide Kinley with the resources he needs to continue his recovery and, in time, expand the incredible impact he’s already making on the lives of others. Every donation, no matter the size, brings Kinley one step closer to healing and gives him the strength to keep fighting, keep inspiring, and keep giving back. This isn’t just about helping someone recover—it’s about standing with a man who has always stood for others. Thank you for opening your heart to Kinley. Together, we can help him rise.
