Support King's Journey to Recovery

For those of y’all who don’t know us, this is King. He is a four-year-old lab mix who loves to play frisbee, chew bones, snuggle up on the couch with his brother, and greet you at the front door with a grin from ear to ear. Up until June of this year, King was a very healthy pup, enjoying long walks, hikes, and swimming in the lake.

Unfortunately, King’s health has taken a turn for the worse. It started with seizures and an infection that spread to his brain. After getting him on meds and giving him extra love at home, we began to see our energetic and loving boy return. He started to play again, carrying his favorite toy, a chicken of course (thanks grandma), around the house at all times. As soon as he got better, he began to deteriorate again. We are now dealing with a widespread infection affecting his heart and joints. We love this boy so deeply and want to give him the best chance at recovery, but we can’t do it alone.
