Update:

kings neutering went great. The vet he saw stated his heart wasn’t strong enough to do his dental work at the same time, and gave suggestions on what to do at home to help his teeth. With that being said, i have lowered our goal now that the dental procedure isn’t needed.

the next step in king’s journey is getting his bloodwork done in full, and see a cardiologist!

King’s story:

King is a 5-year-old boxer/bulldog/pitty mix. He has been to three homes in less than 1 week. His original owners had him for 5 years and left him behind after leaving their apartment. I have agreed to foster King, without knowing the extent of his medical issues. King is the sweetest, smartest boy ever, but has never been to the vet previously. He needs to be neutered and have multiple teeth extracted due to poor food choices from his previous owner. King also has a bilateral ear infection so bad it is causing hearing loss. He will need multiple rounds of antibiotics due to his ear infection and is going to his neutering as well as dental surgery on 3/7/25. He also has never had any bloodwork, so he needs that as well as microchipping.

King deserves to be happy and healthy for his remaining years, so if I can get him healthy for his FURever home it would make it a lot easier to get him to his right fit.
