Hi everyone! My name is Anne Antonellis, and I’m raising money for a cause that means a lot to me. Danielle, my daughter, five years ago left her consulting job to dedicate her effort to fire safety in informal settlements for people who did not have the resources to feel safe in their own homes. Her team has worked hard and with all the budget cuts in humanitarian sector they needs our help. Our family has supported her efforts and I believe that it is so important to give back...in honor of Kindlings, 5th anniversary and my late husband Steve I am hoping we can show support to a worthy cause.

Kindling's mission is fire safety for all. Kindling advances fire safety in vulnerable communities worldwide through research, advocacy, learning, and practice. By bridging fire science and social science, Kindling addresses fire risks in informal settlements, humanitarian camps, and low-resource settings. This year, Kindling focused on interdisciplinary fire risk research, community-based safety assessments, and public safety advocacy to reduce fire hazards and improve resilience for at-risk populations.
