Dental X-rays are an essential tool for safe and effective dental care, yet many of us take them for granted.
In the U.S., they are a routine part of dental visits. But in Bweyale, Uganda, the dental team has been treating patients, including performing surgical extractions and root canals, without access to X-rays.
To improve patient care and create a lasting impact, KinderSmile Foundation is working to purchase the first X-ray unit for the KinderSmile Community Oral Health Center in Uganda as part of the 19th Global Outreach Trip to Rwanda, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Hi, I’m Ariana Bazan, a community health worker with KinderSmile Foundation and a pre-dental student, and I’m proud to support this mission.
I will be participating in the 19th Global Outreach Trip this year, and I will also be running the NYCRuns Brooklyn Half Marathon on April 26th to help raise funds and awareness for this cause.
Your support will help:
• Provide essential diagnostic tools for safer and more effective patient care
• Expand access to comprehensive dental treatment in underserved communities
• Support outreach efforts that bring long-term, sustainable change
KinderSmile Foundation’s mission is to provide underserved children, perinatal mothers, and families with access to comprehensive dental care and educate families about the importance of dental hygiene.
We envision a future where every child has access to a dentist, and preventable dental diseases are eradicated.
If you are able, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every contribution brings us one step closer to providing life-changing care for communities in need!
