Hello everyone! I am reaching out because my sister Kim had her life turned upside down. In May of this year she was rushed to St. Lukes hospital in Duluth for emergency surgery. She was diagnosed with a 20% blood flow in her leg and 0% in her toes. The surgeons initially thought she was likely to lose her leg but fortunately her leg was saved, at least temporarily. Due to the nerve damage that occured she can no longer perform her job that she loved so much, and must use a walker and/or cane to get around. Kim has grueling physical therapy sessions three times weekly to attempt to regain use of her leg.

Kim has no income at this time and needs help with paying monthly bills, buying the bare necessities as well as securing a permanent place for her and her daughter to live.
