Support Kim's Kidney Donor, Jen Marino Dorgan

After years of battling kidney disease, our dear friend Kim is now in stage five kidney failure. But in the middle of this incredibly difficult journey, a miracle has happened—her best friend of nearly 40 years, Jen, has been cleared to be her living kidney donor.

Kim is overwhelmed with joy and hope. This selfless act of love will quite literally save her life. Jen will be traveling from New York to Tampa to undergo surgery on June 24, and while this is a life-changing moment, it also comes with financial challenges.

In addition to being out of work for 4 to 6 weeks, Jen will also need to cover the cost of an Airbnb while she stays in Tampa for the surgery and recovery. As you can imagine, travel expenses combined with her mortgage back home, groceries, medical recovery needs, and being away from work all add up quickly.

To help ease the burden, we’re setting up this GoFundMe to support Jen during her recovery. We’ve set a goal of $10,000 to help cover two months of living expenses, temporary housing in Tampa, and everyday necessities while Jen heals from this incredible act of love and generosity.
