Hello! My name is Cameron and I started this donation for Kim Dever Call. If you know Kim, she has had an unimaginably tough year. In February of 2025, she had a hernia operation and was met with many complications. She has been regaining her strength over the course of the last year but is still facing many obstacles to overcome.
In the time she has been on the mend, her home, which she shared with her mother who passed in 2023, has been having plumbing issues. Kim has been having her kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom flooding. It has damaged her floors, and she has been without water a couple of times. Kim hasn’t been able to confidently do laundry, dishes, or have a bathroom that is functioning optimally in several months. The recent issue now appears to be a pipe within the slab foundation of her home, which may require her living room floors, as well as her kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom, to be torn apart.
The cost of repairs for someone on a limited income, while dealing with medical issues, is just too much. The overwhelming stress this has caused her is heartbreaking. Kim’s greatest comfort is the home she shared with her mother. She has such wonderful memories on Glenview Drive. She works so hard to maintain the property as best she can alongside her son Jared.
Kim is the kindest friend you could ever have. She’s involved in her community and tries to help wherever and whenever she can. She never asks for help and certainly would never impose herself to seek assistance from the community with what she’d deem “too much to ever repay.” Her faith has kept her strong, but her strength is dwindling away as this issue continues to cause problems.
All proceeds from this page will help provide Kim with the ability to get what’s needed to fix her home: flooring, parts, and of course, the cost of a plumber.
As a community, we take care of those who have fallen on difficult times. Any relief or prayer you can provide to my dear friend during this time would be greatly appreciated.
