My mother has always been fiercely independent. She’s spent her life working hard, pushing through challenges, and doing everything she can to stay self-sufficient. But a serious accident recently changed everything.

She suffered multiple spinal and pelvic fractures that’s left her unable to work and struggling to manage basic expenses. For the first time in her life, she’s truly stuck — no income, no way to cover her bills, and a long road to recovery ahead.

As much as she values her independence, this is one of those rare moments when she needs help. I’m doing what I can, but I can’t carry this alone — and I know she wouldn’t want to feel like a burden to anyone.
