Kim and I have been friends since we met volunteering at our local Fire Dept back in 1994. Over the years, I've seen her give so much of herself to our community and to those in need. She is the kind of person who always puts others first, whether it's helping a neighbor, supporting a friend, or caring for animals. Her compassion and generosity have touched so many lives.

Recently, Kim faced an unimaginable challenge. Just two months after her husband passed away, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She is now undergoing chemotherapy treatments, which have been physically and emotionally demanding. On top of that, the financial strain has become overwhelming. Kim has tried to find help through other outlets, but it simply isn't enough to cover her expenses, bills, and food while she focuses on her health.
