Hi Friends,Family and Kind Stangers!
My name is Allie and in Early December 2025 my mom, Kim, was facing the unknown and unexpected possibility of breast cancer. In January 2026, she got the official diagnosis of Invasive Ductile Breast Cancer after multiple scans, biopsies and a lumpectomy. At this time she was met by a team of Oncologists to come up with a treatment plan. On March 17th, she began chemotherapy with approximately 16 rounds of chemotherapy to complete. As of today, she has completed 4 rounds. Within 2 weeks of the first round she began to show the physical signs of chemotherapy which has taken a toll. Once chemotherapy is completed, she will have another surgery and then begin 6 weeks of radiation.
She is far from the end of her fight and things are starting to pile up against her and my dad. They have recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary and have fought so many battles together during that time but this has been the hardest one yet.
I have hesitated to start this fundraiser for months now. Every time I brought it up, my mom, Kim, would assure me, saying that she had everything under control. She has always been the strongest person for many people and always the one to rally behind everyone else. She is an amazing wife, mom, nana, aunt, sister and friend that deserves everything good in life.
My dad has been unable to work consistently so he can be there for her and provide transportation of 100 miles give or take weekly and the drive will be increasing to 270 round trip miles daily during radiation. Their vehicles have both broke down, medical bills are already in the $1000’s and daily obligations are piling on.
That’s why I finally decided to start this fundraiser.
If you’re able to donate—even a little—it would mean so much to us. Your support will help with:
✅ Medical co-pays and treatment expenses
✅ Medications and special dietary needs
✅ Everyday living expenses while my mom recovers
And if you can’t donate, just sharing this fundraiser would help tremendously.
Sending love, light, and blessings to everyone. I hope that one day, a cure is found for this painful disease.
Thank you from the bottom of mine and my family’s hearts for reading and for any support you can give.
