Support Kim's fight against B Cell ALL Leukemia

Donation protected
As many of you already know, this past month has been incredibly difficult and emotional. What I thought was the start of autoimmune disease testing, etc. turned into a Leukemia diagnosis.

On 6/26, I received the news that I have B Cell ALL Leukemia, and that I am being immediately admitted to the Cancer Center at UMMC Baltimore. I will spend (hopefully) 4 weeks here under aggressive chemotherapy as an inpatient, and then undergo outpatient chemotherapy for an undetermined amount of time.
So far, my oncology team and nurses have been amazing, they are happy with my progress, and doing a wonderful job at keeping me informed and motivated.

Friends, I'm not sharing this for pity, I'm sharing this because I want everyone to take a step back and listen to their bodies. If I did not go back to my primary care Dr in April because I was feeling "off" and tired, I probably would not be alive to post this. She ordered labs that hardly ever get ordered, and actually listened to me. So folks, get yourself checked regularly please!!!

For those asking how to help, you know Bryan and I are very independent people who hate admitting that we could use it. However, bills are starting to show up and they're hefty. My bill alone for diagnosis from the Bone Marrow Biopsy is $3,000 after insurance! I will need this test done at least once more as well, so it adds up quickly!

If you made it this far, thank you. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered support and kind words to us. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. This is just simply a bump in the road!!
